We are continuously investing to ensure the monument complex keeps improving and remains one of the very best day ticket carp fishing complex's in the U.K.
During Feburary 2023
We have introduced a further 10 big fish into Monument 2 upto a collosal 38lb+. These we all above 28lb, also young fish with a massive potential to become Monument 2's next generation of monsters.
Further trees are continuously being planted to furhter imrpove the landscape. When you visit the Monument Carp Fishery you can expect the highest standards of Management.
In 2012 we took the decision to build a second lake and work started on Lake 2 in spring 2013. This will open on August meaning 2015.
The Monument 2 is 10 acres in size, boasting 2 double pegs and 14 other swims, meaning it can accommodate 18 anglers at any one time, all the pegs cover a substantial amount of water and will give all the anglers a chance of a big hit of fish regardless of the peg you book onto.
Every peg on the Monument 2 is fitted with a double waterproof plug socket, which is only suited for phone chargers or very small bivvy heaters. If the power is to trip out of work hours it cannot be turned back on until the following morning. Pegs 5,6,7,8 which face the prevailing wind constantly have had substancial wind breakers made from rail way sleeper to make your session more comfortable.
When to fish
We sell a 36 hour session all year round, these start at 6:30 on the morning of the first day of the session, the session will finish at 6pm the following evening.
Thursday - Friday
Saturday - Sunday
If you wish to fish for longer than 36hrs that is possible if you book 2 or 3 sessions that are back to back, if you book the same peg you can stay in your peg for the night and hand your rods into The Monument Office. You will then get your rods back at 6:30am the following morning. However, you cannot stay onsite on a Tuesday night or Wednesday night as we are shut for maintenance. So, you will therefore need to book in the order of a Thursday-Friday session, Saturday-Sunday session then Monday-Tuesday session.
Many anglers want to fish next to their friends when night fishing, so you can choose your swim, when you book.
March 1st until 1st December
£60 per 36 hour session
December 1st until end February
£50 per 36 hour session
We require a minimum of 10 days notice for cancellations. Less than 10 days you will be allowed to rebook your session on another date but no refund option. Less than 5 days notice will result in no refund or rebooking. All Cancellations must be submitted via email to email@example.com
We reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time, due to unforeseen circumstances – such as, but not limited to spawning, flooding, frozen water, extreme heat, urgent maintenance, pandemic or any other government instruction.
