Monument 2

In 2012 we took the decision to build a second lake and work started on Lake 2 in spring 2013. This will opened on September 1st meaning 2015.

The Monument 2 is 10 acres in size, boasting 2 double pegs and 14 other swims, meaning it can house 18 anglers at any one time,  all the pegs cover a substantial amount of water and will give all the anglers a chance of a big hit of fish regardless of the peg you book onto. We started with stocking 650 fish in 2015 with a range of fish between 15lb+ 45lb+. Now in 2025 Monumnt 2 still holds around 650+ fish with us stocking the venue every other year with 10 - 20 fish with some of these being in excess of 40lb+. Monument 2 now holds over 100 - 30lb+ fish, 14 - 40lb+ fish 1 - 50lb+ fish in the shape of 'Bella' which has reached a top weight of 51lb 12oz.

Every peg on the Monument 2 is fitted with a double waterproof plug socket. Pegs 5,6,7,8 which face the prevailing wind constantly have had substancial wind breakers made from rail way sleeper to make your session more comfortable.
